Ronaldo to earn 20 million euros net per season as he lands new deal

first_imgCristiano Ronaldo’s new contract just needs the signature after his agent Jorge Mendes and Real Madrid’s general director Jose Angel Sanchez polished out the final details of the new terms this week.  Ronaldo’s demands have been captured in a document which asks for three additional seasons – which would take him up to 2020 – and a salary of around 20 million euros net each season.  He made it clear he wanted to stay during the club’s Champions League celebrations at the Santiago Bernabeu this week, saying “this shirt fits me fucking well.”  Sport EN The talks had been put on hold before the Champions League final, although most things had ben talked about in previous meetings. Finally, though, the Portuguese international will land a new long-term contract which will allow him to continue at Madrid until he’s 35.  Upd. at 20:00 Over the past few months there has been speculation that he would leave Madrid for a stratospheric offer from Paris Saint-Germain.
